Cancer Screening

Cancer can be detected before symptoms appear.

Diagnosing cancer early means treating it is more likely to be successful.

If you are aged between 60 and 74, you are invited to take part in bowel cancer screening - a simple stool test - every 2 years.

For women, if you are aged between 24 and 74, you are invited to take part in cervical cancer screening. In addition, if you are aged between 40 and 74, you are invited to take part in breast cancer screening. If you have a strong family history of breast cancer, screening should be from your 20s, every year.
